| Miller Motorsports Park. Who knows how to correctly pronounce "Tooele"? I do, so I sound
like a native. Quite the track, eh? I think all you riders liked it, but boy, what a pain in the ass it was for me. Not wanting
to piss anyone off, I wanted to do the right thing and get proper credentials and clearance for going on the track. What a feat
that was. I practically had to give up my first born (sorry, Maddie). Even with all the right waivers and blood tests and fingerprints,
I was told that I had to always be behind a hard barrier. I know it's for safety, but all of the hard barriers were about three
miles from the track (ok, slight exaggeration, but let's just say they're at really really really safe distance). Plus there are
poles on the inside of every turn that make it hard to frame a shot. So the pictures aren't all that. The mountains in the
background are cool, though, as are the sixty jillion checkered flags lining the way in to the track.

| These aren't all the pictures I have. At the end of the weekend, I had about 2,000. Got rid of the
obvious rejects, and still had about 1,800. That's part of the reason it took so long to get them posted. That, and the fact
that I have a job, family, and went to Snowmass the following weekend. Anyway, I did the best I could to put them in some
kind of order. They're sorted by race, for the races I took pictures of. I didn't
go out there for every race. I have most of the pictures sorted by rider number, but only have some of the individual galleries
up here. Who gets their pictures in an individual gallery? The people that I know, or that have asked me to take pictures of them.
Want an individual gallery from Miller? Just ask. If I have any, it doesn't take me long, now that I have them sorted.
There's probably duplicates
out here too, but I had lots of pictures to sort through and I'm still perfecting my method. |
